The Edge foam speaker ring kit uses an egg crate foam base which is a more effective way to absorb nuisance sound waves across the frequency spectrum. This design also increases the available surface area and the ability to absorb echoes and reverberation. The reduced door panel vibration and the tight seal will help increase the overall sound quality coming from your speaker. These ring kits will also allow more sound to pass through the front of the speaker rather than getting trapped behind the door panel.
